Adding observations to a Visit report helps make the report clear and consistent and easy to read for the grower.
How to Add observations to the visit report
Step 1: Add Scoutables
- At the bottom of the visit report, click the button +Scoutable to begin adding an observation. A report can have multiple Scoutables. When you create a new visit report, the scoutables observed at the last report for this enterprise, will be preloaded.
Step 2: Search or select the Scoutable
- Use the search box to find a scoutable by its name or Latin name.
Step 3: Select Intensity Level
- After selecting a scoutable, choose the appropriate intensity level: Under Control (no action), Warning (monitor), or Critical to indicate the severity of the issue and if immediate action is recommended..
Step 4: Add a Note (Optional)
- If needed, add a note next to the scoutable to provide more context or specific observations.
Step 5: Attach an Image or Document (Optional)
- To illustrate the situation (e.g., pest damage), you can attach a file or image directly to the scoutable.
Elements on the screen (incl Screenshots/visuals)
- Scoutable dropdown menu: Search and select the scoutables you have observed.
- Intensity level dropdown menu: You’ll see three options to indicate the severity of the pest pressure: Under control (no action needed), Warning (monitor closely), or Critical (immediate action required)
- Attachment(s): Click this button to add images or other files as attachments to your observation.
- Text field: Click inside the field to add text.
