The treatment page allows tracking of treatments conducted for the control of pests and diseases. In the treatment menu, an overview is displayed of all entered treatments, sorted by date, product, dosage, and location. Biological treatments are marked with a green tag, while chemical treatments are marked in orange.
With the available filter, you can specifically search for product, treatment, and location. The treatment type can be chosen as Biological or Chemical. If Chemical treatment is selected, a new chemical treatment can be added in the "Product" field that follows.
Note: Before entering treatments, at least one location with a department must be created.
The following is a step-by-step guide on how to add a new treatment, where it becomes visible, and how to filter treatments in the overview.
1. Add New Treatment
Click on the "+ New Treatment" button located at the top right of the overview.
2. Select Treatment Type
Choose the type of treatment to be applied. The options are Biological and Chemical.
3. Select a Product
Choose a product. If Biological was selected in the previous step, Koppert products will appear for selection. If Chemical was chosen, previously created chemical products will be displayed. If the used chemical product is not listed, it can be added by typing the chemical product in the "Add new Item" bar and clicking "Add."
4. Location and Department
Next, select the location, and then in the following field, choose the department where the treatment was applied.
5. View Treatment Details
If desired, additional details related to the treatment can be entered. Depending on the earlier choice of Biological or Chemical, the fields will differ. Click "View Treatment Details" to reveal the fields for entering additional details.
Treated Area
Choose "Full department" if the treatment was applied to the entire department. Click "Part of the department" to reveal additional fields where a quantity can be entered in the left field and the unit (m², hectare, are, ft²) in the right field.
Target
Depending on the location and department filled in step 4, scout preferences set during department creation will appear here. Select the scout preference(s) for which the treatment is applied.
Notes
If desired, comments can be entered in the "Notes" field, which can be later reviewed in the treatment overview.
Method (only visible for Chemical treatments)
Choose the application method for the treatment. Options include "Spraying" and "Dipping."
Dosage (Biological)
Select the dosage and a unit of measurement (pieces/m², packets/m², liters, US gallons, grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, milliliters).
Dosage (Chemical)
Choose the dosage and a unit of measurement (liters, US gallons, grams, kilograms, pounds, milliliters) per product. Then, select the amount of water used if the "Spraying" method is chosen or the amount per area if the "Dipping" method is chosen.
Spray Volume (grayed out if "Dipping" method is chosen)
Enter the spray volume in the left field. Select whether it is in gallons or liters in the right field.
Safety Interval (days) and Re-entry Time (hours) (Chemical)
Enter the safety interval in days and the re-entry time in hours.
Click the "Add New Treatment" button when all relevant fields are filled. The treatment overview will appear, with the added treatment at the top. If it is a biological treatment, the product is green; if it is a chemical treatment, it is orange.
